“Caballos de Oro Estates / Pinnacle Ridge”
Situated against La Madre Mountain on the western edge of the Las Vegas Valley is Caballos De Oro, a luxury town-home development with 30 three-story loft style residences. The Project, Caballos de Oro Estates, or golden horse, is aptly named due to the new Equestrian Park and trail head to be constructed directly to the south of the property. The property is tucked directly against La Madre Mountain, allowing residences seclusion and a connection with nature not available in any other competing product. The mountain side location affords picturesque views of the city lights to the south-east from many of the units.
The project is designed as a private gated community with hidden garage areas, ample amenities and true loft style units. A beautiful pool and sunning area is situated against the rocky terrain of the rising mountain. Residences have access to a centrally located recreation center which allows for large casual gatherings. Also within the clubhouse or recreation center is a stunning exercise area overlooking the pool deck and a two story fountain. As the units are three stories in height, parking and garage areas are separated from gathering and recreation areas. This also allows interior living spaces to be configured as true lofts with upper floors opening to levels below. Each residence will have their own integrated lift-elevator to easily move between levels. The architectural style is described as contemporary, but with a softness and subtlety adorned by luxurious views and secluded surroundings.
Currently, this project does not have a comparable competitive product in the marketplace. There are other town-home or condo projects which have similar amenities and architectural styles, but they lack the seclusion of the mountainside, coupled with the privacy of a small gated community. There are projects which use the term “Loft”, but without all the features of a true loft -- open ceilings and open floor plans cascading to lower levels.
Caballos de Oro is situated in the north-west portion of the City of Las Vegas. Residences have easy access to the new 215 beltway, being about 1/3 mile to the east and Summerlin Parkway, being about 2 miles south of the property. Within about 4 miles is the newly developing Summerlin Center with the recently opened Red Rock Hotel Casino which boasts world class restaurants, theaters and other entertainment beyond the gaming experience. Summerlin Center contains retail centers including big boxes such as Best Buy, Lowes, and Costco along with many restaurants, and office developments.
Also within a few minutes drive is Red Rock Canyon National Conservation area with its’ scenic drives, picnic and camping areas, and beautiful hiking trails. Of course, if someone is into hiking, they need only take a few steps to the west or the north of their residence at Caballos de Oro. The trail system into the mountains from this property is immense. Off-road vehicles such as four-wheelers and motorcycles are no longer allowed in the adjacent areas. This property is considered truly unique in that development to the north or the west will not happen. Property to the west is owned by the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) and partially un-buildable due to the terrain. To the north is La Madre Mountain, which falls within the subject parcel and to the south is the new City Equestrian Park. Given the location, at the end of a cul-de-sac, there is little chance of this beautiful setting being spoiled by future development.
Five different unit types or floor plans will be offered. Two small units of about approximately 1,600 square feet are available. Four units are available in the 3,100 square foot range. The remaining 24 units range in size from approximately 1,900 square feet to about 2,550 square feet on two different floor plans. Every unit has a direct city or mountain view. Some will have views of both. Some units will also have direct access from their patio to the pool area. The recreation center is centrally located and provides the main access to the pool area for most residents.
